Opt-In Workflow

How Employees Consent to SMS Messages

Effective May 2026
1

Employee Onboarding — Written Consent Form

During onboarding, new employees are presented with a written SMS Consent Form. The form clearly explains:

  • The purpose of SMS messages (internal workplace communications only)
  • Types of messages they will receive (schedules, updates, alerts)
  • Message frequency (up to approximately 15/month)
  • That message and data rates may apply
  • How to opt out (reply STOP at any time)
  • That consent is not a condition of employment

The employee signs the form and provides their mobile phone number. A copy is retained by Wear-Planted.

“By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages from Wear-Planted LLC related to scheduling reminders, operational updates, meeting alerts, and administrative notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of employment.”
2

Phone Number Added to Messaging System

After written consent is received, the employee's phone number is added to the Wear-Planted internal messaging system by management. No employee is enrolled without a completed, signed consent form on file.

Consent forms are stored securely and retained for the duration of employment plus 12 months.

3

Employee Receives Confirmation Message

Upon enrollment, the employee receives a one-time confirmation SMS:

Wear-Planted alerts enabled. You will receive internal operational SMS notifications. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
4

Ongoing Operational Messages

Enrolled employees receive messages including:

  • Shift scheduling reminders and updates
  • Inventory delivery arrival notifications
  • Staff meeting reminders
  • Store policy and SOP updates
  • Administrative announcements

All messages are sent from Wear-Planted LLC and are limited to internal operational use only. No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.

5

Opt-Out Process

Employees may opt out at any time using any of the following keywords:

Upon opt-out, the employee will receive a confirmation message and will be immediately removed from the messaging system. Opting out has no effect on employment status.
